ARCH ENEMY's AMOTT: New Stuff 'Sounds Killer!'
ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott has posted the following studio update via the band's official web site:
"Sorry for the silence…we've just been busy working in our rehearsal room!
"We've been working really hard on breaking [producer Andy Sneap's spirit! (not too far from the truth actually! – Angela got him really high on space cookies one night 'A life-altering experience,' Andy says…! It really opened his mind and we were all inside the songs that night….ehhhh…yeahh!).
"Well, we got a bunch of really great tunes in the can now…all demoed w/ vocals and solos and everything – sounds killer! Now we go to the UK and start recording the REAL thing…lotsa hard work ahead...but it's gonna be fun! We'll be dropping by here with messages and pictures every so often…stay online!!!
"Here are some pictures from the pre-production sessions for the new album in Halmstad, Sweden Feb 9th 2003. (taken by Andy "I Need a Doctor – now!" Sneap).
"Rock on soldiers of the night!"
