AVATAR To Support MEGADETH In Sweden

Swedish metallers AVATAR have been confirmed as the main support for MEGADETH on February 6 at Arenan in Stockholm. Also appearing on the bill is EVILE.

In other news, AVATAR will perform at 2008's South by Southwest (SXSW) on March 14 in Austin, Texas.

AVATAR recently posted the third AvatarTV episode from the band's European tour with OBITUARY and HOLY MOSES on the group's YouTube channel. Watch it below.

AVATAR's latest album, entitled "Schlacht", was released on October 24, 2007 via Gain Records. The group started recording the follow-up to 2006's "Thoughts of No Tomorrow" in May.

AVATAR toured Europe with EVERGREY in October-November 2006 and Scandinavia with IN FLAMES in March 2007. They have also played shows with such bands as ARCH ENEMY, STONE SOUR, DISMEMBER, IMPALED NAZARENE, and MARDUK.
