Ottawa, Canada quintet BURIED INSIDE have inked a deal with Relapse Records. The group's Relapse debut, "Chronoclast", is scheduled for release in early 2005. A special November 9, 2004 Canadian release date is expected.

BURIED INSIDE "combine aggression with melody to create their own style of sleek and powerful heavy music," according to a press release. Produced by Matt Bayles (MASTODON, THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES, THE BLOOD BROTHERS), "Chronoclast" was written as a single 40-minute piece using a wide and varied array of instruments. The band has released two full-length albums, "In And Of The Self" (Matlock Records, 1999) and "Suspect Symmetry" (Cyclop Media, 2001), and have toured extensively throughout North America with such bands as THE END, CONVERGE, CREATION IS CRUCIFIXION and UNEARTH.

BURIED INSIDE will appear as one of the featured performers at the 2004 Relapse Records CMJ showcase on October 15 at New York City's Downtime.
