Former FIERCE CONVICTION (later known simply as CONVICTION) singer Jose Sanchez has gone back to his roots, which is the glam/melodic hard rock genre. In December of 2006, he landed a record deal with Europe's premier melodic hard rock label Z Records and is currently working on a new CD, which will reportedly be stylistically similar to such bands as DOKKEN, FIREHOUSE and EUROPE. More information will be made available soon.

FIERCE CONVICTION was active in the mid-'90s, with tours in Scandinavia and a record deal with Germany's Crazy Life Music. The band sold about 15,000 copies of their two albums before calling it quits in 2001.
