HOLE Rumored To Have Parted Ways With Guitarist

HOLE are strongly rumored to have parted ways with guitarist Eric Erlandson. Erlandson is said to be quitting because he his tired of taking second place to band leader Courtney Love's legal battles, which has resulted in the band's inactivity for much of the last two years. Apart from the song "Be A Man", which was recorded for a soundtrack in 2000, HOLE have not recorded any new material since 1998's Celebrity Skin. For the last few years, Love has been battling her label Universal in court and has recently been engaged in a legal and public relations war with former NIRVANA members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl.
