KURT COBAIN Christmas Card Sells For $16,000
A Christmas card made by late NIRVANA frontman Kurt Cobain when he was six years old sold at an auction for $16,200, according to The Courier-Mail.
A drawing Cobain created in high school of ex-U.S. president Ronald Reagan raised another $14,400, while an MTV music award won by Cobain guitarist fetched $9,600 at the sale in Monterey, California.
The MTV music award was won by Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994, for his song "Smells Like Teen Spirit", organizers Julien Entertainment said.
The items were part of a haul of 300 items of celebrity memorabilia that went under the hammer at the weekend.
