ONSLAUGHT Issues BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival Recap

Reactivated British thrashers ONSLAUGHT have issued the following update:

"What another awesome weekend we've had in Germany at Bang Your Head!!! festival... Huge crowd, great weather and two days of pure fuckin metal! We hit the stage at just after midday on Saturday, which was by far the heavier day of the two, with JUDAS PRIEST, SAXON, OBITUARY and TANKARD sharing the billing with us... All our apprehensions about playing so early it the day soon disappeared as the ONSLAUGHT intro rang around the festival, the arena was packed and ready to thrash. Sadly, we were limited to a 40-minute set, which meant we had to cut some songs; always a tough decision but it was still real intense."

ONSLAUGHT's setlist was as follows:

01. Killing Peace
02. Let There Be Death
03. Angels Of Death
04. Destroyer Of Worlds
05. Metal Forces
06. Planting Seeds Of Hate
07. Demoniac
08. Burn

The band continued: "The Bang Your Head!!! crowd were so fucking cool; lots of banging and lots of noise. We were given such a great welcome and response which made the 16-hour drive to Balingen very worthwhile... 40 minutes are over in the snap of a string and we're off to celebrate at the bars and to catch up with friends and get wrecked for the rest of the day. Haha. And what a fuckin day it was!!

"Finally we would like to send a massive thank you to everyone at the Bang Your Head!!! festival organisation for inviting us to play this great event and for making us all so welcome during our stay. Danke."

Due to popular demand, Back On Black Records recently released four ONSLAUGHT albums on colored vinyl complete with gatefold sleeves. The albums available are: "Killing Peace" (2007), "Power From Hell" (1985), "The Force" (1986) and one purely for the fans of the embryonic ONSLAUGHT, a collection of early hardcore punk demos from 1983 entitled "Shadow Of Death".

ONSLAUGHT recently confirmed the departure of guitarist Alan Jordan. A replacement axeman has been recruited in the shape of "awesome new shredder" Andy Rosser-Davies.

ONSLAUGHT's latest album, "Killing Peace", was released in March 2007 via Candlelight Records. The CD was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).

Metal Mind Productions released ONSLAUGHT's "Live Polish Assault" DVD in a special DVD+CD limited swing case edition on March 3 in Europe (May 13 in the U.S. via MVD).
