QUEENSRŸCHE, TESLA, GREAT WHITE Members To Take Part In 'Metal Mania Stripped' Acoustic Show

Full Metal Jackie, the host of Indie 103.1's specialty metal show "Chaos", has announced that the upcoming acoustic show featuring QUEENSRŸCHE, TESLA, GREAT WHITE, DOKKEN and original WARRANT lead singer Jani Lane to promote the forthcoming "VH1 Metal Mania Stripped Volume 3" CD will take place at the Key Club in Los Angeles on March 7. According to Jackie, who will be hosting the event, "each of the five artists will be performing a selection of their greatest hits acoustically in celebration" of the new Sidewinder Music release, which will hit stores on Tuesday, March 6.

Like its "Stripped" predecessors, the new CD will once again feature rare and never-before-heard acoustic versions of some of metal's greatest songs by some of the genre's biggest names (see list below).

"VH1 Classic Metal Mania Stripped Volume 3" is actually the fourth release in the successful "Stripped" series following "Volume I: The Ballads", "Volume 2: The Anthems" and the "Metal Mania Stripped Across America Live!" DVD.

All in all, "Volume 3" features fifteen unforgettable tracks (ten of which have never been heard before), all of which have stood the test of time.

The forthcoming record release party promises to be full of hits (including the hit songs appearing on the new release), as the five featured artists have sold over 30 million albums collectively worldwide and boast a total of fourteen platinum and nine gold albums.

Open to the public, tickets to the special event are $20 (general admission) and $28 (general admission and a copy of the new CD) and available at the Key Club box office as well as all Ticketmaster outlets (including online via Ticketmaster.com). Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Showtime is 8:00 p.m.
