THE 69 EYES Tease Video For New Single, '27 & Done'

Finnish goth rock veterans THE 69 EYES have released a teaser for the upcoming music video for their new single, "27 & Done". The song, which is expected to be made available in the coming days, is taken from the band's twelfth studio album, due in September via Nuclear Blast.

THE 69 EYES singer Jyrki 69 told Capital Chaos about the new disc: "I'm thinking it's probably the best record we've ever done. Even though that's our twelfth record, for Christ's sake, so it's nothing new for us."

According to Jyrki 69, he drew some of the lyrical inspiration for THE 69 EYES' new album from the "fucked-up world" that we live in. "It's inspiring to live in this world — it's very inspiring for me to come up with some cool things for the album," he said. "But there's a safe dose of cult movies and cartoon rock and roll there as well, and horror movie references. So it's a 69 EYES album, but it's really fresh, very rocking, raw and powerful."

Earlier this month, THE 69 EYES embarked on a U.S. tour for the first time in a decade.

The band recently teamed up with DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara and his wife Anahstasia's The Oracle Management.

THE 69 EYES' eleventh album, "Universal Monsters", was released in April 2016 via Nuclear Blast.

THE 69 EYES is:

Jyrki 69 - vocals
Bazie - guitar, backing vocals
Timo-Timo - guitar
Archzie - bass, backing vocals
Jussi 69 - drums
