XICON Hard At Work On Sophomore Album

Swiss industrial thrashers XICON are hard at work on their as-yet-untitled sophomore album, tentatively due before the end of the year through Thundering Records. Former KROKUS producer/drummer Pat Aeby is once again helming the effort, which is being recorded at Dimenec studios in Switzerland. The studio production is expected to last six months. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Checkmate", "The Maze", "On Concrete" and "Monument".

XICON's debut album, "Theogony", was released in Switzerland in 2006 through Aurora Music/Lautstark and in other parts of the world through Thundering.
